Offices rarely get rebuilt. They accumulate: a switch added here, a cable run there, until nobody knows what plugs into what.

The symptoms are familiar. Wi-Fi that dies in the corner offices. A rack nobody will touch because the cabling is unlabelled. Machines too slow for the work but replaced one at a time, so the office runs four different generations of hardware at once.

Office optimisation treats the floor as one system. We survey what is physically there, plan the rebuild properly — rack layout, access point placement, cable routes, desk positions — and then install in phases, mostly after hours, so no department loses a working day.

You end up with a labelled rack, a documented network, hardware on a known replacement cycle, and one company accountable for all of it.

The plan is the deliverable of the survey — a drawn layout of racks, cabling, coverage and desk positions. It is yours to keep, whether or not Greenstem does the build.

How disruptive is it?
Planned properly, very little. We work department by department and do the cutover work after hours. The point of the phasing is that nobody loses a working day.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. The survey usually finds equipment worth keeping. The plan is phased partly so the cost spreads across a financial year.
Can you work around a landlord or building manager?
Yes. Cable routes, riser access and after-hours work all get arranged with the building as part of the planning phase.
What does it cost?
It depends entirely on the floor size and what the survey finds, which is why the audit comes first and is priced separately from the build. You get a real number before you commit to anything.
